Abstract

The Cotton and Textile Industry of Pakistan is a key sector for economic growth and development. However, it is not performing optimally due to a myriad of factors that impact the cotton value added chain at each and every step. Various issues begin to impediment the performance of the cotton crop in terms of yield and productivity, which then has a consequential effect on the cotton ginning sector.
